Joslin Dsouza is a pianist, composer, and music producer recognized for his cinematic piano compositions and dynamic work across film, television, and live performance. Born in the peaceful country of Oman, Joslin discovered his passion for music at the age of four, learning to play piano by ear while observing his father and brother. His natural ability quickly led him into formal classical training.
He studied under the prestigious curriculum of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in London, where he developed a strong technical and musical foundation. During his early years, Joslin earned top honors in numerous talent competitions and, in 1995, was invited to perform live keyboard demonstrations for Casio and Yamaha Corporation in collaboration with McDonald's. He was also a regular performer in his local church, further shaping his musical expression.
After relocating to the United States, Joslin pursued higher education at the University of Toledo and later continued his music studies at the University of North Texas, one of the country’s leading institutions for music. During this time, he began composing original works, which led to the release of his debut album, The Lone Traveler, on January 16, 2006.
He followed this with The Road Ahead (2010) and a Christmas piano collection titled Emmanuel, showcasing his ability to create deeply expressive and relaxing solo piano music. In addition to his solo projects, Joslin frequently collaborates with emerging artists as a composer, producer, and performer.
One of his most ambitious projects, King of the Nations, began in 2007 and evolved into a full-scale, two-hour Christmas concert production that chronicles the birth of Christ. The album was recognized on the ballot for the Grammy Awards in 2017.
Joslin’s compositions have been featured across a wide range of television and media platforms, including The Real World, Bad Girls Club, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and campaigns for Adidas. His music has also appeared in documentaries such as Journey to Hope, and has been broadcast internationally across the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, France, Thailand, South Korea, and beyond.
In recent years, Joslin has built a rapidly growing presence on YouTube, where his channel features visually compelling music videos. As of 2025, the channel averages over 5 million monthly views and has surpassed 250 million total views.
As a live performer, Joslin has been invited and commissioned to perform with several orchestras across Texas. He has appeared with the Irving Symphony Orchestra in 2022, 2023, and 2026, and with the Fort Smith Symphony Orchestra in 2023 for both their Christmas and Valentine’s Day concert specials. These collaborations highlight his versatility as both a composer and performer in orchestral settings.
